Request an Absentee Ballot for the 2026 Primary Election

If you need to vote by absentee ballot for the 2026 primary election, please follow these steps to ensure your request is processed correctly.

Important Details

We need you to write a letter and include:

  • Date and reason why you will not be in San Carlos for the elections

  • Your PRINTED NAME AND SIGNATURE

  • A copy of your Tribal ID, CIB or state ID

  • Your district

  • Phone number

  • Return address

No group requests – one letter per person, please!

DEADLINES

Primary Elections (if needed)
  • Beginning September 11th, you can request an absentee ballot.
  • Primary absentee ballots will be mailed out on September 18th.
General Election
  • Beginning October 9th, you can request an absentee ballot.
  • General absentee ballots will be mailed out on October 16th.
