Instructions to Run for Office within the San Carlos Tribe

Important Dates:

  • Start Date: August 6th
    • Begin turning in your Letter of Intent and Background Authorization to run for office.
  • End Date: August 20th
    • This is the last day to receive all required information.

Requirements:

  • Letter of intent and background check form can be picked up at SCA Election Office.

  • Letter of Intent Form must be notarized, include full legal name and desired position.

  • The form must be returned to SCAT Election Office. At this time, you will need to return the Authorization of Release of Information Form and pay a $250.00 fee. All documents and a background check fee must be returned to SCAT Election Office.

  • Include your photo with the letter of intent.
