You can find out your district by calling or visiting the San Carlos Enrollment Office.

The list of candidates will be available Early September for Tribal Elections.

Important Dates:

  • Start Date: August 6th
    Begin turning in your Letter of Intent and Background Authorization to run for office.
  • End Date: August 20th
    This is the last day to submit all required information.

Requirements:

  • Forms: Pick up the Letter of Intent and Background Check form at the SCAT Election Office.
  • Submission: The Letter of Intent must be notarized, include your full legal name, and the desired position. Submit it along with the Authorization of Release of Information Form and a $250.00 fee to the SCAT Election Office.
  • Photo: Include your photo with the Letter of Intent.

The Primary Election (if needed) will occur on October 1, 2024, at the following locations:

  • Gilson Wash: Activity Center
  • Peridot: Michael A. Noline Community Building
  • Bylas: Stanley Hall
  • Seven Mile: Seven Mile Multi-Purpose Building

Polling Hours: 6:00 A.M. – 7:00 P.M.

Early Voting:
October 14th – 18th, 2024, and on select days at each polling district (9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.).

General Election:
November 5, 2024, at the same polling locations. Polling hours are 6:00 A.M. – 7:00 P.M.

In tribal elections, you do not need to register to vote, but you must have your tribal ID to cast your ballot. For state and national elections, registration is required. Learn more here.
